Line car 1 started out its life as a single truck passenger car. It was converted by its owner, Southern Iowa Utilities, into a line car. The car later moved to Trolleyville before coming to the museum. The line car is being repaired so it can go into service as a much needed replacement vehicle for S193. The car will be used by SC&ET for their work, as well as for maintaining the Tunnel of Lights for Winterfest and providing a car for transporting workers and lightweight supplies for track efforts.
