In honor of Montreal Tramways Car 4's 100^th birthday in 2024. the volunteers of the Museum's Operations Department have been working hard to restore it to its former glory. From June, 2020 to date a great deal of exterior work has been done with new paint all around - the railings and pillar were refinished in gold and the sides and posts in cream. The side panel received a new graphic, the first one since the 1980's. The old flooring has been removed and will be replaced in Spring, 2022 and the car will be ready for service by May.
